The most awaited event (according to me) finally came, High On U1 concert, arranged by Nima.
Let’s paint the scene: Rudolf-Weber Arena in Oberhausen – THE gathering spot for around 7k Tamil music aficionados from across Europe! And guess what? We landed the “luck” jackpot – diamond seats, baby! 😍 Cue the prioritet pass, sauntering into the arena before the crowd frenzy kicked in. That meant one thing: prime time to grab drinks, nosh on some delicious treats, and catch up with pals pre-concert. Talk about starting the night on the ultimate high note!
Now, here’s the kicker: Rudolf-Weber Arena’s got this under wraps! Countless spots indoors, sprinkled around the arena, where you can snag food, sip on refreshing beverages, and, the lifesaver – the restrooms! This place is a concert-goer’s dream come true, the ultimate hub of convenience and good vibes!
But the concert itself was A DREAM COMING TRUE! 🤩
The Pre-show pros and cons (🤪)
The pre-show started really good with AJS DJs Bulletime and Soundberry, and damn these guys are too good!
The atmosphere they crafted was simply electric. An absolutely mind-blowing experience! Now, here’s the twist in the pre-show tale: Majoe and Vithya MUA graced the stage, belting it out in GERMAN! Like, seriously? Why drop a German bombshell when you’ve got an audience from non-german speaking coubtries hyped up for Tamil beats? It was a vibe-killer, no one was feeling it! I couldn’t help but feel a tad bummed, especially for someone like Vithya, a renowned MUA. It felt like a misstep, you know? 🤷🏻♀️😅
But, that German interlude was short-lived! Cue the comeback, thanks to other performances swooping in to save the day! Navz-47? That girl brought the fire! I’m talking flames of energy, setting that stage ablaze! 🔥 She single-handedly revived the vibe and had everyone on their feet again, back in the groove!
High On U1 – that was what we were waiting for!
Yuvan’s grand entrance was nothing short of a spectacle! Anticipating a sudden appearance on stage, we were taken aback when this maestro chose an unconventional path—emerging from the ground, right among his adoring fans, accompanied by the ‘Gangster’ vibes from Billa II. The aura was simply mesmerizing 💥🔥
Onstage, the ensemble of musical luminaries was awe-inspiring. From the legendary Shankar Mahadevan to the talents of PremG, Tanvi Shah, Andrea Jeremiah, Vijay Yesudas, Haricharan, Haripriya, Sam Vishal, Rahul Nambiar, Anushya, Priyanka NK, and more—each artist shone brightly. And let’s not forget the magical presence of Karthick Devaraj and Manoj Violinist – two virtuosos I’ve admired since the beginning of their careers! 😍
The stage was ablaze with energy, each artist delivering an exceptional performance. The song selection? Impeccable! The synergy among these talents elevated the concert to new heights, leaving the audience in pure musical ecstasy 🤩
Songs like Oru Naalil, Loosu Penne, Nimirnthu Nil, Saroja Saman Nikalo, Aanandha Yaazhai, En Jannal Vandha, Mamakutty, Jalsa, Thee Pidikka,Pachai Elai, Makka Kalanguthappa, Thaththai Thaththai, Aarairaaro, Edhirthu Nil, Rowdy Baby, Where Is the Party? etc. were all totally amzing!! 🥰🔥

Having been to several concerts, Yuvan’s performance undoubtedly takes the crown as the absolute best. It surpassed every expectation, leaving me overjoyed and thoroughly satisfied! An unforgettable spectacle, made even more exceptional by the presence of my two beloved brothers, adding an extra layer of love and warmth to an already heartwarming experience. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
