Not to get too much of boring food, and just to try something new (for T), I asked her if she would like to try some Etiopian food. She was a bit nervous, but gave it a try, and ended up liking it, as it reminds of tamil food ๐ So this was what we were going to eat, after our trip to Toledo. We were pretty much exhausted, but that didnโt stop us from eating ๐
I had reserved a table at Restaurante Gonder Etiope in Madrid. Again pretty much close to our hotel. As they have a sharing menu, we got to share a vegetarian plate. I was a bit nervous thinking if T would like vegetarian food, but that was not a problem at all ๐๐ฅฐ
If you ask me, Etiopian food is SO underrated in this world! This was the 2nd time I tried Etiopian food, the first time in Berlin. I love their Injera, that is made of teff flour, that only grows in Etiopia. However, Injera reminds of our tamil appam, and their curries remind of tamil curries too. Maybe I should try making etiopian food one day ๐ค
