The following day, we didn’t have any plan, other than eating good food. But unfortunately our dinner turned out to be a disaster. But I’ll write about it later in this post, because you have to know about something great we had this day: the brunch!! ๐
AIRE Ancient Baths – Copenhagen
Aaaaand guess what!
My bestie gifted us a wellness experience to Aire Ancient Baths in Copenhagen. Two of my friends have earlier mentioned about this place, and as I kept talking about it, I guess my bestie captured my allusions and bought this for us ๐
I guess we had the Perfect Tandem pack, as we had a full body massage with sandalwood and a very long bath. My God, such a pleasure. This is actually the best wellness retreat I’ve ever tried.
Tramonto Rooftop – Italian Restaurant, Copenhagen
After the brunch at the Union Kitchen, we went for a walk at Nyhavn. Such a beautiful place, it is. Nyhavn, which original name was Det Nye Havn, from 1673, was a trading harbour, where ship from around the world arrived. It was initiated by King Christian V. Today it’s Nyhavn and is full of restaurant, bars and the colourful houses.

Poonchai Thai Restaurant CPH – Review
After exploring Amalineborg, Kongens Have etc., we had our dinner at Poonchai Thai Restaurant. They have 2 branches, and we went for the one at Istedgade, right behind the central station in CPH.
It was actually one of my collegaues who recommended us to try this restaurant. And I tell you, they have really authentic, tasty food here. Also you get excellent service ๐ The staff is so kind. Great atmosphere in original Thai style ๐
Did you say chocolate?
After the cozy break at Mormors, we went to see Amalienborg, as my bestie has never been there. I have been there once when I was in 7th st. We went to Copenhagen with the entire school, and it was so fun. When went to visit Amalienborg back then, we actually saw the queen and she even waved at us, as she got into her carriage. As a kid, you feel so special, because the queen herself waved at you ๐๐ Though I’ve been in CPH several times, I haven’t been at Amalienborg since 2001.

Copenhagen ;)
So…
A few weeks back, I went for a short holiday in Copenhagen with my bestie, as we badly wanted a getaway from the daily routines. I had just finished my lectures at SDE in Odense, and hereafter we went to Copenhagen by train. I was pretty much excited, who doesn’t love a getaway? ๐
