Kesari is a dessert from India, that is popular in Sri Lanka too. My mom used to make kesari frequently when my brother and I were children. I remember how much I loved it, but later I somehow stopped eating it. Lately I came across a mango kesari recipe, that is so good. Usually it is made with milk, but I use water instead, so that you can keep the kesari for a couple of days 🙂
Veggie Bhajjies
Bhajji is a very popular type of fritter in many states in India, especially Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Assam and West Bengal. In south it’s commonly known as “bhajji”, whereas it is known as “bhajiya” in the other states.
Nowadays you can eat bhajjies all over the country, and also in other places like Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
Bhajji is a snack food where various vegetables are dipped in a mixture of gram flour batter and deep fried. Though my family is from Sri Lanka, we love bhajjies very much 😉
Shahi Chole – Creamy Chickpeas

I love chickpeas, and I love the North Indian Shahi Chole curry, that usually goes amazing with either rice, roti, naan or parotta. Recently I had my bestie on a visit, so we made parotta and shahi chole for dinne. It was so yummy, I tell you! I have made this recipe several times, so now I’m gonna share it with you guys. Hope you’ll like it 😉
Paneer Pakora
Paneer pakora is an North Indian snack, and I’ve seen that many Indian restaurants in Europe serve them as starters. I tasted some in Odense, and wanted to make them by myself.
This recipe is for about 15-20 cubes of paneer (approx. 2 x 2 cm)
Easy Paneer Masala with veggies
Paneer Masala (the curry in the middle) is one of my fave north indian dishes, along with baingan bartha. Paneer is so yummy when in a creamy sauce. Here is mine version of it, and it’s VERY easy! 😃 Normally it’s made with a cashew paste, where the cashews are soaked in water. I recently bought some roasted cashews from Dubai, so I went with these to give it a try – without having them soaked in water. And this was actually good too.
