Kesari is a dessert from India, that is popular in Sri Lanka too. My mom used to make kesari frequently when my brother and I were children. I remember how much I loved it, but later I somehow stopped eating it. Lately I came across a mango kesari recipe, that is so good. Usually it is made with milk, but I use water instead, so that you can keep the kesari for a couple of days 🙂
Mango Lassi – With frozen mangoes
Mango lassi – YUMMY!!
Lassi is an Indian yoghurt drink. Originally it was a mixture of yoghurt, salt and other spices. The Tamils make a thinner version, called mor/moar, which is my faveourite sour yoghurt drink. When it comes to lassi, I prefer the one with mango. I have now made it several times, and we love to drink it now and then 😉
Easy Peasy Mango Cake – Eggless
My mum once made a mango kesari, so I thought of baking a mango cake this time. You know that I’m a vegetarian, and always bake eggless cakes, so I mixed a recipe together and it actually made a very yummy cake 🙂
