Wellness Weekend ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Yesterday, I finally visited Water & Wellness in Randers for the first time, and I instantly regretted not going sooner. Iโ€™ve always had certain reservations about public swimming pools, mainly because Iโ€™m not a fan of crowded places, and Water & Wellness is no exception – itโ€™s a popular spot, and you have to be prepared for the fact that itโ€™s meant for the public, meaning there will be plenty of people around ๐Ÿ˜…

Despite the crowds and occasional noise; people chatting loudly even though there are signs asking for quiet – I still had a great experience. My body felt completely relaxed, and I could feel the tension melting away. Upon arrival at the wellness area, you receive a bottle of water and a small container of salt scrub, which is a nice touch ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Honestly, I could see myself coming here every month. You get used to things over time, after all! ๐Ÿ˜„

After my visit to Water & Wellness, I decided to check out Nagomi Sushi, which had just opened a week ago. Iโ€™ll admit, I wasnโ€™t feeling too optimistic about it after reading numerous reviews, but I also kept in mind that they were still new and getting settled.

With mixed feelings, but a strong appetit, we headed to Nagomi Sushi. Fortunately, it turned out to be a fantastic experience! We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive server, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and the service was impressively fast ๐Ÿ˜

Most importantly, the food was delicious! As a vegetarian, I was a bit worried about the options, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of their vegetarian dishes. It was such a positive experience that I can confidently recommend Nagomi Sushi to others! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฑ

All in all, it was a day of pleasant surprises – a perfect combination of relaxation and good food!

Vegetarian Sushi in Odense: Bluefin, Odense

When I moved to Odense in 2008 for my higher studies, it was very tough to find a place to get some vegetarian food. I struggled very much, and as I hated to cook at that time, I started to lose weight. Seriously.. But that wasn’t a serious issue ๐Ÿ˜‰ I remeber, that people often said that Copenhagen and Aarhus were better places for vegetarians. As Odense has never been a town I “admire”, I didn’t do much of learning the town nor get friends there. It was mostly during the last years of my studies, that I got some tamil friends in Odense, started to go more out etc. It was also in the recent years that many restaurants started to do something for vegetarians, and vegetarian/vegan places started running. There are several places in Odense I know love to visit, and I’ll be posting some posts about those places, starting with the Bluefin today ๐Ÿ˜€

Bluefin Restaurant is a sushi restaurant located in Odense, on Klaregade 7. Last year, in 2017, it was ranked as the 3rd best sushi restaurant in Odense, right after Goma and Umashi. I havenโ€™t tried these 2, but I like the vegetarian sushi in Bluefin very much. I have been there twice, where the staff and service during my first visit were appreciable and I got exactly what I wanted โ€“ vegetarian sushi ๐Ÿฑ๐ŸŒฑ

The place is very nice. Located in the town of Odense, the restaurant is quite busy, but still pleasant. Very neat, beautifully decorated in a neat style and with a very cozy atmosphere.

Zen Restaurant, Berlin

According to Tripadvisor, Zen Restaurant is actually the 2nd best place in Berlin for sushi. ..And I totally agree!

We went for dinner here on our 4th day in Berlin. Once again found it through google, as we were craving for some sushi ๐Ÿ˜‰

The place and itโ€™s atmosphere is just amazing. Very cozy, beautiful and with a smiling and king staff.

I ordered a vegetarian menu, and additionally ordered some veggie crispy sushi too, along with an orange/raspberry lemonade. Loved the lemonade by the way ๐Ÿ˜‰

All in all:

Pleasant and timely service, smiling and kind staff, excellent food with reasonable prices. Highly recommendable.

If youโ€™re a sushi-lover, Zen is indeed a must-visit restaurant! <3
