I checked Get Your Guide for some tours and trips before travelling to Malaga. I really wanted to go to the Caminito del Rey and Granada to see Alhambra, and I therefore booked a ticket for me to Caminito del Rey. My brother’d already went there back in 2019, and he too recommended me to go there, as he nows I love to hike in nature.
Lunch at La Tagliatella, Plaza Mayor
After exploring the Alcazaba of Malaga and the Gibralfaro, I was so hungry – so hungry, that I actually didn’t what to eat, because I was to tired. I had walked 12 km, and couldn’t really think about searching for a quiet place to eat, so I just went for the first restaurant I could see. Some café that didn’t offer much vegetarian food – so I got a bread with some tomatoes and a coke 😅
Herefter I decided to go for the Plaza Mayor, so I took the C1 line. Went for a proper lunch at La Tagliatella.
Damn, what a great lunch it was!
Garganelli all’uovo e burrata (with tomato sauce, basil and homemade burrata). It was so authentic 😍😋

And then some shopping 😉
Alcazaba of Málaga & Castillo de Gibralfaro
Then I had a few days on my own, while my brother went for work. Fuengirola is a beautiful town, and as my brother lived only few metres from the beach, I work up early to go to the seaside and enjoy the sunrise. It was some priceless moments, and I could feel how much I needed this kind of space during a hard time. I felt so grateful while enjoying those moments, and they helped me to recover and come back to the normal.

Musically sunday
Well, ehm yes.
Living close to the beach is luxury to me. That week gave me one of the best sunrises and mornings in my entire life, because I love the beach and that meditative effect sunrises at beaches give.

Been Here So Far!
From Singapore to Kuala Lumpur ;)
Last day in Singapore – first day/evening in KL…
Starting the day with breakfast at Toast Box. I really love Toast Box. I don’t know why, but I just love it.

And that was the moment I felt, that I didn’t want to leave this place 🙁

We went to Sri Krishnan Temple for a friday pooja, before taking the flight from Changi Airport to KL.

In KL we quickly checked in at Verdant Hill Hotel, took a Grab to Jalan Masjid India for some vegetarian dinner. This area looks so creepy, and the people living there also told us to stay away from that place. We quickly went for some shopping, and never came back. Haha.
Here, masala thosai at Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant. I guess it’s the same branch as the Sangeetha restaurants in Tamil Nadu. But the food was absolutely good, and with good service.

We went for a quick shopping at Ajuntha Textiles. Bought some panjabis, sarees, vaeddis and some small kitchen stuff.

I must tell you, I already felt uneasy in KL, and was not super happy. Felt that Singapore is far better, and I still have that feeling. We talked with several tamil people in KL, that could tell us about high level discrimination 🙁 So sad…
Note: When in KL, I highly recommend you to use Grab for transport. DON’T go for the local taxis. And beware of thieves everywhere!
