The legendary Segway-tour in Madrid 🤪

Sissy’s all about that Segway life, and there I am, a bundle of nerves thinking, ‘This Segway thing? No way!’ 😵‍💫😵

Rumor had it that maneuvering a Segway is like doing ballet on a tightrope. Cue the nervous sweats! 🫣

But you know what? YOLO, right? 😅 So, I hop on, thinking I’ve got this. Reality check: Me and that Segway? We’re the newest comedy duo in Madrid—two-wheel antics at their finest! 😂😂 But hey, laughter ensued!

IT’S THE FUNNIEST THING E V E R ! 😆🤣

Before that, there’s something important to mention: breakfast.

We had our breakfast at Cafe&Te (opposite of Hotel Francisco I Boutique), where I had a crepe with veggies, and it was really good!

Alright, so we rock up at Segcitytours, C. de las Huertas in Madrid, ready to tame those Segways! Our guide’s all, ‘Here’s how you handle this magic machine.’ And guess what? It took us a mere 10 minutes to go from ‘Segwhat?’ to ‘Segway pros!’ 🤩

I mean, my ADHD brain was doing backflips of excitement—adrenaline rush, bring it on! I was like a kid in a candy store, except the candy was these speedy Segways! Let the good times roll! 🤩

From the Segway office we rode down the streets of Madrid to Parque de El Retiro, where we enjoyed a nice Segway tour alongside a beautiful park. It was so much fun… So fun, that I decided to do a stunt, and… Yes, see here

However, my legendary crash on the Segway didn’t stop me from trying another Segway tour in future. No worries 🤣😜

In the Parque de El Retiro you’ll find the stunning Palacio de Cristal del Retiro, a glass-conservatory built in thr 19th century. Today it’s used for exhibitions. The palace reminded me of a location that appears in the tamil song “Sahana Saaral” from the movie Sivaji the Boss, however I found out that the Ask Laska song from Nanban was shot rigth IN Palacio del Retiro!! How crazy is that, to know that Thalapathy Vijay has danced right here were I’m stading. Daaaamnnnnn 😍

Here are some pictures from the ride and the park 😄
