As my incredible journey in Valencia neared its end, I dedicated my last day to savoring the city’s rich history and indulging in some much-needed relaxation. From exploring a stunning palace to enjoying a blissful wellness session, here’s a look at how I wrapped up my unforgettable adventure in this beautiful Spanish gem.
Starting the day at Kaffeina again, this time with a delicious french toast. So yummy! I tell you, Kaffeina it definitely my go-to if I go back to Valencia!

So, I decided to visit the Museu Nacional de Ceràmica i de les Arts Sumptuàries Gonzàlez Martí. This museum is housed in the Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas and is primarily dedicated to ceramics, with a special focus on Valencian pottery. The palace itself is a marvel of Gothic architecture dating back to the 16th century, but underwent significant renovations in the 19th century.

The Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas holds a significant place in Valencia’s history, not only for its architectural splendor but also for its cultural heritage. Originally built during the Renaissance period, it served as a residence for the nobility, showcasing their wealth and prestige through intricate designs and lavish decorations. The palace underwent a transformation in the 19th century, reflecting the prevailing tastes of the time while preserving its historical essence.

My Segway guide had actually recommended visiting this historical site, and he also shared the tip that admission is free on Sundays, which suited my plans perfectly. So, why not take advantage of the opportunity to explore such a rich cultural gem? 😊

After that, I had some extra time for shopping, which meant my legs automatically led me to El Corte Inglés. There, I indulged in buying more clothes and a variety of Spanish delicacies 🤩
Olive oils, valencian jams, nuts, you name it 😄
After a enriching visit to the museum, and some shopping, the rest of the day was dedicated to relaxation and packing up for my journey back home the following day. Overall, it was a delightful and fulfilling holiday where I immersed myself in the beauty of Valencia’s architecture – from its historic and storied landmarks to its modern marvels. It was truly a dream come true. Valencia is undeniably a beautiful city worth visiting, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and architectural wonders 🥰
