You might have heard about murungai (moringa) and its benefits. Itโs something people in Asia have been eating for generations, but only recently people in the west โrecognizedโ it as a superfood. Not only the treeโs leaves, but also the sticks and bark are useful, and have been used in food and for medication, mainly in Siddha Maruthuvam, for ages. The word muringa is actually derived from the tamil name murungai and the malayali name muringa.
We use the sticks very much, and itโs easy to buy them in the local tamil stores, but the leaves are not always imported. Whenever we are able to buy them, we do, because we love them and of course of the benefits.

Hey guys!
Hope you’re all doing good! I’m back with a recipe, that I developed recently.

An eggless recipe on some chewy chocolate chip cookies. I’ve made them several times for now, and my family and friends love them (I do too, of course) ๐
This recipe makes 12 cookies.
This recipe is from thebigmansworld.com, but I just halved the ingredients and added vanilla ๐
If you want a glutenfree, sugarfree, yet a tasty and a very simple recipe, go for it. Both my brother and I love it! ๐
I make this quinoa bowl often, it is easy, healthy, PCOS-friendly and antiinflammatoric. And of course vegan too ๐
Quinoa is low in calories, but high in proteins. Moreover it contains all 9 essential amino acids. By eating it every day, it is said to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. As it has a low glycemic index, it is therefore very much PCOS-friendly, and of course also good for controlling the sugar level in blood. It can also help in losing weight.
