Iβve tried ziplining before – six years ago in Singapore – but I still remember how insanely fun it was! So, of course, I had to do it again, and what better place than Thailand, which is literally packed with crazy zipline adventures? And guess what? Thailand is also home to Asiaβs longest zipline, which just happens to be in Chiang Mai. So, obviously, that was THE main reason I decided to spend a few days here. Asiaβs longest zipline AND mountains? THE DREAM.
Two Weeks, Two Countries & Zero Regrets – Because Denmark is cold AF π
So, winter hit, and like every year, I had one mission: GET OUT. Seriously, Denmark in January? No, thanks π
I decided back in autumn that I needed a proper escape to somewhere warm, tropical, and far enough away that I could pretend winter didnβt exist. And since getting to Asia already takes a solid eternity, I figured I might as well make it a two-week adventure.
Wellness Weekend ππ»ββοΈ
Yesterday, I finally visited Water & Wellness in Randers for the first time, and I instantly regretted not going sooner. Iβve always had certain reservations about public swimming pools, mainly because Iβm not a fan of crowded places, and Water & Wellness is no exception – itβs a popular spot, and you have to be prepared for the fact that itβs meant for the public, meaning there will be plenty of people around π
Despite the crowds and occasional noise; people chatting loudly even though there are signs asking for quiet – I still had a great experience. My body felt completely relaxed, and I could feel the tension melting away. Upon arrival at the wellness area, you receive a bottle of water and a small container of salt scrub, which is a nice touch π
Honestly, I could see myself coming here every month. You get used to things over time, after all! π
After my visit to Water & Wellness, I decided to check out Nagomi Sushi, which had just opened a week ago. Iβll admit, I wasnβt feeling too optimistic about it after reading numerous reviews, but I also kept in mind that they were still new and getting settled.
With mixed feelings, but a strong appetit, we headed to Nagomi Sushi. Fortunately, it turned out to be a fantastic experience! We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive server, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and the service was impressively fast π
Most importantly, the food was delicious! As a vegetarian, I was a bit worried about the options, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of their vegetarian dishes. It was such a positive experience that I can confidently recommend Nagomi Sushi to others! πππ±
All in all, it was a day of pleasant surprises – a perfect combination of relaxation and good food!

Reflecting on 2024 β A Year of Growth, Joy, and Dreams Coming True β¨π
As we step into a new year, I canβt help but look back at 2024 with gratitude and a full heart. It has been a year of self-growth, knowledge, unforgettable experiences, and dreams turning into reality.
A Challenging Yet Hopeful Start
The year began with an unexpected challenge – I had a minor accident, where I was hit by a car during a heavy snowstorm. Thankfully, despite the extreme weather conditions, I was lucky it wasnβt serious. After a week of rest, I was able to get back to work. That snowstorm was both beautiful and brutal – a magical sight but definitely not fun when you have to clear all the snow alone π€£π

Stepping Back in Time in Aarhus π
Yesterday, I took a trip to Aarhus to spend some quality time with my dear βsis,β T. It had been a while since we last met, so I was really looking forward to seeing her again. And what better way to embrace the holiday season than by visiting Den Gamle By, the famous open-air museum in Aarhus? βΊοΈπ
Funny enough, despite having lived in Aarhus for several years, I had never actually visited Den Gamle By or ARoS – two of the cityβs most well-known attractions. But this year changed that! I had the chance to visit ARoS earlier, and now, thanks to Tβs annual pass, I was finally getting to explore Den Gamle By as well π
