Music, they say, transcends barriers, weaves stories, and etches memories. The 29th of September unfurled an adventure beyond just attending an AR Rahman concert – it was a carnival of laughter, melodies, and unabashed joy 😄
The curtain rose in Herning, where T, my ever-enthusiastic sister, and I embarked on a musical escapade. Kolding awaited, a pit stop where A, my partner-in-crime, jumped aboard, infusing the journey with boundless enthusiasm and an extra dollop of mischief 🤣😘
Another month, another gig – this time, it’s Anirudh rocking it live in Oberhausen, Germany! My buddy A, the same legend I explored Istanbul with, hit me up with this epic invite along with a bunch of pals for the concert bash. Now, hold onto your hat: ticket sale last November, and I sprinted to say ‘Yes!’
Legendary A was like The Flash snagging those 5 golden tickets before they vanished into thin air. Wanna hear something mind-blowing? The concert was sols out in a lightning-fast 7 minutes, and we’re talking a massive 14k tickets here! Talk about a showstopper moment! 🤩😱
Just listen/watch this beautiful medley of ARR compositions, performed by various artists, including Sashaa Tirupati, Haricharan, Vijay Prakash, Sakthisree Gopalan, Neeti Mohan and A R Rahman himself 😊
I too had the experience to see some of the singers mentioned above performing this medley in Wembley, back in 2017. The whole concert was one of the best experiences in my life ❤️
