At The Top, Burj Khalifa – Dubai

After the lunch/High Tea at At.Mosphere Lounge on the 122nd floor in Burj Khalifa, we had a booking At The Top, Burj Khalifa 5:00 pm. Before getting in to this part of Burj Khalifa, you have to collect your tickets in Dubai Mall. I thought this was easy, but it’s not. It takes a lot of time, first to walk from Burj Khalifa to Dubai Mall, then finding the section, where you collect the ticket, and standing in the queue. Luckily, I booked tickets with quick entry, so right after collecting the tickets, we could enter for At The Top.

You actually enter from Dubai Mall, walk through a very big passage, were you are taken from the bottom to the 124nd floor.

Booking the tickets for 5 pm visit was a clever thing; we saw the town in both day light and night, with beautiful sunset 🙂

Unfortunately, it was not easy photographing because of lot of reflections..

Dining at the TV Tower, Berlin

As noted in one of the previous posts, my bestie and I visited the TV Tower in Berlin for a dinner.

This was one of the best experiences during our stay in Berlin, and something I’ll definitely recommend you to do, if you plan going to Berlin 😉

The TV Tower itself is 368 m. You can either get tickets to the observation desk, or book a fast track ticket to the desk too. If you need some more, you can book a table on the 360 degree restaurant, that also gives you a fast track entry including a 2 course dinner during a 1,5 hour visit, where you can sit at a window and enjoy a 360 degree view of Berlin.

If you ask me, I’d say that the food is only average, but the experience itself is so good, that you’ll actually enjoy the food too 😛 Definitely a visit worth! 😉

Bejte Ethiopia, Berlin

One of my friends once told me about Ethiopian food reminding her of tamil food, and to be very tasty. Berlin has several Ethiopian restaurants, and I decided to book a table for dinner at Bejte Ethiopia  in Berlin. As we took the U-Bahn we had some difficulties in finding the restaurant at first, but we somehow managed 😛

Bejte Ethiopia is beautifully decorated, with Ethiopian décor and traditional music. It was an experience itself. The staff is so kind, but we had some difficulties in understanding each other, as they’re not routined in either German or English. But that was actually not a problem at all.

We decided to share a vegetarian plate with Injeras and several curries. The Injera pancakes reminds pretty much of the tamil appam, and the curries are very similar to the Sri Lanka/tamil curries. Spicy and soooooo yummy! The staff even came with extra injeras free of charge 😉

You eat Ethiopian food with your fingers, and I loved to be able to do so. I always feel that food tastes better when eating with your fingers 🙂

We tried several restaurants in Berlin, and Betje was the best experience. I would love to eat here once again. I’ll undoubtedly recommend this place 😉

Zen Restaurant, Berlin

According to Tripadvisor, Zen Restaurant is actually the 2nd best place in Berlin for sushi. ..And I totally agree!

We went for dinner here on our 4th day in Berlin. Once again found it through google, as we were craving for some sushi 😉

The place and it’s atmosphere is just amazing. Very cozy, beautiful and with a smiling and king staff.

I ordered a vegetarian menu, and additionally ordered some veggie crispy sushi too, along with an orange/raspberry lemonade. Loved the lemonade by the way 😉

All in all:

Pleasant and timely service, smiling and kind staff, excellent food with reasonable prices. Highly recommendable.

If you’re a sushi-lover, Zen is indeed a must-visit restaurant! <3
