Vegan Dining in Odense: Restaurant Paprika

There are some Indian restaurants in Denmark. I have visited some of them, where Restaurant Paprika in Odense is definitely my favourite Indian restaurant I’ve visited so far. When I am in Odense, we mostly go to Paprika, because we really love the food here 😉 Also the Indian take away “Classic Indian” in Odense is very popular, but if you ask me, Paprika is much better. Also Paprika offers take away, by the way 😉

I have some pictures here from 2 of my recent visits. Go for their garlic and peshwari naan. They are sooooo good!

Vegetarian in Aarhus: Aarhus Street Food – I’m just as honest as always ;)

Aarhus Street Food, located at Ny Banegårdsgade 46, near the bus station in Aarhus, is actually a garage made into a place with several stalls selling street food from around the world. You find stalls with Danish rye bread menus, afro-carribean food, Vietnamese food, French crepes and much more. I’ve seen several vegetarian/vegan bloggers been praising this place, but I’m not very much surprised with the vegetarian/vegan selection, as there’re mostly French fries, salads and stuff like that, and a few stall offering 1 or 2 vegetarian/vegan items, which is not really good (in taste). I try to be very frank – therefore writing down this. If you are very hungry and need a cozy place, where you can sit down and eat/enjoy your food, then don’t go for the Street Food. Aarhus Street Food is a mess of a place, not cozy at all and the food is not that good compared to the price!!

Vegetarian in Aalborg: Burger Shack

I recently went to Aalborg to visit one of my friends, who lives there. Aalborg is my favourite city in Denmark – along with Aarhus, but Aalborg is more charming 😉

We had lunch at my friend’s home and went for a walk downtown Aalborg, where we got our dinner. As The Burger Shack recently was announced to have the “Denmark’s best burger”, we therefore though of trying their vegetarian burger – 3 vegetarian friends.. Unfortunately, none of us were really surprised. The vegetarian burger here is only average. I was very hungry, but couldn’t eat my burger, because it was not that good. The patty tasted bitter, and there was not so much greens. Thinking that The Burger Shack has the best burgers, we expected more. But it seems like only their non-veg burgers are good :-/

There are much better vegetarian burgers to be find! 😉

Oven Baked Veggie Risotto

Here is one of my favourtie and easiest recipes of vegetable risotto. This recipe is actually one I made many years ago, and shared on my former blog, so now I’m just re-sharing it 😉 Risotto is of course another popular Italian dish, and there are many varieties. Both baking it in the oven is definitely the easiest way, but I’m not sure if this is a “right way” to do it 😛 However, hope you’ll like it 🙂
