Alright, buckle up for a tale that’s as heartwarming as a rom-com with a side of laughter! So, let me set the scene: G’s turning the big 30, and it’s shaping up to be the bash of the century – a.k.a. the Kollywood Kaper! 🎉
Now, let me tell you about G and N – they’re like family, especially since they’re my brother’s ride-or-die crew. But here’s the kicker: they’ve become like family to me too, all thanks to my bro. So when that golden invite lands in my inbox, I’m all over it quicker than you can say “let’s party!” 😎
Now, let me set the scene. We’re talking about G and his lovely wife N, two of the kindest souls this side of the equator. So when the invitation hit my inbox, I hit “yes” faster than my cat chasing a laser pointer. But cue the impending doom music because, did the nerves start creeping in 😵💫
But here’s the thing: social anxiety’s my shadow, always lurking around like a party pooper. Picture this: yours truly, an anxiety-ridden socialite, diving headfirst into a sea of unfamiliar faces faster than you can say “lights, camera, action!” 😬😬😬
So there I am, hitting “yes” on the invite with one hand and doing deep-breathing exercises with the other. Classic move, right? 😅
Fast forward to the big day. I and my trusty bro, roll up as early birds, to lend a hand with setup. Let me tell you, being first on the scene is like having a VIP pass to the social shenanigans. We’re setting up snacks and drinks – you name it, we’re on it.
Pro tip: being first on the scene is like having a golden ticket when you’re as socially awkward as I am. And let me tell you, that head start? Lifesaver 😮💨🥹
And, as mentioned; G’s gone all out with a Kollywood-themed extravaganza. Costumes, quizzes, the whole shebang. And here’s where things get interesting – I decide to channel my inner Nayanthara and rock up as her iconic character from “Kolamavu Kokila.” Yeah, I’m talking full-on costume mode 😎
The other guests? From Anniyan, to characters like Neelambari, Kanchana, Rolex, Endhiran, Maggie, Nallasivam, Vaishnavi, Bigil, and G and N as Maari and Anandhi, it was just an entire kollywood crew 😄

As the party gets underway, something magical happens. It’s like slipping into Nayanthara’s shoes gives me a confidence boost like never before. Suddenly, I’m mingling, laughing, and having my moments like it’s nobody’s business.
And let me tell you, the night? It’s a blur of laughter, friendship, and maybe a few too many shots of chai. G’s grinning from ear to ear, N’s radiating warmth like a human-sized hug, and me? Well, I’m feeling like the star of my very own Tamil movie 😂🎉
Let’s just say his 30th went down in the annals of party history faster than you can say “action!” So here’s to good friends, my jimbillipies G and N, great costumes, and conquering social anxiety, one Kollywood character at a time.
A huge thanks to G, N, and Nayanthara for making this party one for the books. And to anyone out there battling their own social demons, remember: sometimes all it takes is a killer costume and a little bit of courage to shine like a superstar. Cheers to that! 🥳♥️
