Friday in Valencia was supposed to be a chill day of wandering around, but I ended up at Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias again because I wanted to see if I could get more good pictures and clips for a great reel π€³π
I kicked off the day with breakfast at Kaffeina Brunch & Specialty on C/ del Mur de Santa Anna. This place is so cozy, it’s like a warm hug in cafΓ© form. I had a Tostada Valenβa vegan toast with hummus, avocado, cherry tomatoes, smoked paprika, and olive oil. Plus, a refreshing coffee. Yum! Kaffeina has, without a doubt, the best breakfast in Valencia. Highly recommended, friends!!! ππ€€

Fueled by the best breakfast in town, I headed back to Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias for more photo and video ops. After snapping some Insta-worthy shots, I wandered over to Saler – a shopping center just opposite the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. I was on a mission to find a new suitcase and finally found one I liked. Plus, I even managed to squeeze in some lunch.

After trudging through the entire shopping center, I was utterly exhausted and needed some serious relaxation back at the hotel.
Earlier, my awesome Segway guide had recommended some restaurants for delicious paellas. His top pick was outside Valencia, which I didnβt have time for, so I opted for his second option – La Pepica, right next to the Balearic Sea. The view was stunning, and the experience was fantastic. My vegetarian paella exceeded all expectations, leaving me both happy and full π

I started with pan con tomate and then dove into my vegetarian paella. I also tried the popular Agua de Valencia – Valencia’s answer to a pretty hardcore cocktail, a delightful mix of Valencian oranges, cava, vodka, and gin. That’s it! For dessert, I had a warm chocolate cake with orange, orange mousse, and chocolate ice cream with thyme. Wow, what a flavor explosion. Everything was so delicious and delicate, and the service was so top-notch that you feel like royalty π€£
I certainly left La Pepica happy, full, and super content ππ«Άπ½
