Friday in Valencia was supposed to be a chill day of wandering around, but I ended up at Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias again because I wanted to see if I could get more good pictures and clips for a great reel ๐คณ๐
Shopping Extravaganza & Dosa Delights: Rome’s Retail Rollercoaster ๐ธ๐๏ธ
As the curtain drew to a close on Roman adventures, I dedicated my final day in Italy (as for now) to retail therapy. The chosen battleground? Rinascente โ a retail wonderland promising everything the heart desires.
What I bought in Istanbul
You can buy many delicacies and cheap stuff in Istanbul. And if you, like me, love to buy stuff, you’ll never get tired of Istanbul and what the town offers you
In fact, I’d already decided to buy saffron and turkish delight, and I found both. Of course. Saffron and other spices are easily found in the Grand Bazaar, and it’s also here I bought my saffron. I bought 100g saffron.

Then a lot of turkish delight in different flavours, with and without nuts ๐
Chocolates, tea, and some menthol crystals (if I ever get a cold). And you can buy much more, so don’t hesitate ๐

Lunch at La Tagliatella, Plaza Mayor
After exploring the Alcazaba of Malaga and the Gibralfaro, I was so hungry – so hungry, that I actually didnโt what to eat, because I was to tired. I had walked 12 km, and couldnโt really think about searching for a quiet place to eat, so I just went for the first restaurant I could see. Some cafรฉ that didnโt offer much vegetarian food – so I got a bread with some tomatoes and a coke ๐
Herefter I decided to go for the Plaza Mayor, so I took the C1 line. Went for a proper lunch at La Tagliatella.
Damn, what a great lunch it was!
Garganelli allโuovo e burrata (with tomato sauce, basil and homemade burrata). It was so authentic ๐๐

And then some shopping ๐
Suria KLCC & The Petronas Twin Towers
The second day in Kuala Lumpur was spent in Suria KLCC.
We’d decided, that we didn’t to go inside the Twin Towers Bridge nor the towers, but only get an outside view. Hereafter we went for dining and shopping in Suria KLCC.
Little India, Singapore
The 4th day was mostly spent on shopping in Little India, and we were happy about this decision. I was curious to visit Little India again after 20 years, and I was a bit shocked to see how much it has changed. I remebered Little India as a nice and neat place, but this is not the reality anymore! The small streets with small shops reminds pretty much of the terrible streets of India, unfortunately. But you have to experience it ๐

We started the day with breakfast at Kith Cafe, nearby our hotel at Bencoolen St., and then took the MRT from Bencoolen to Jalan Besar, and from here we walked through Veerasamy Rd. to Serangoon Rd. It was funny how I still remember the route, though I was only 10 years old back then ๐
