From Herning to France in less than 1 hour – Wait, what?! 😄🌞🇫🇷🇩🇰
The past week and a half have been spent in Herning, but tomorrow, it’s time to head south – straight to Fuengirola and Málaga in Spain! And I cannot wait! The first time I was there was last November when my brother lived in Fuengirola. Fun fact: He moved back to Denmark just a week after my visit. Coincidence? I think not. Proof that miracles exist? Absolutely – especially for kind souls like him. 😉
But who knew, I’d also visit France, and that it’s suddenly in Jylland?! 😅 JK, read here 😂
Summer ‘22, baby! 😎
4.5 weeks of summer vacation have now been forced upon me. How tragic – whatever shall I do with all that free time? 😂
Jokes aside, with the current chaos at work, stress levels through the roof, and life in general being a delightful rollercoaster, a long vacation was clearly the responsible choice. Originally, I planned just two weeks in weeks 29 and 30, with a few extra days in week 33. But then, certain circumstances (read: sanity preservation) led me to take a solid 4.5 weeks instead. Self-care, people! 😌

Birthdays, a time for celebrations, surprises, and well, unexpected chaos! Picture this: a meticulously planned surprise for my brother who despises the idea, orchestrated by a sneaky sibling and three cohorts. The stage was set, the bait laid, but the comedy that unfolded! 😂

Some of you might have seen this, but yes. I’ve changed my blog’s name to abbynsta.com. The reason behind is very simple. I wanted to use the same names for my Instagram account and my blog. My Instagram account/profile has been “abbynsta” for more than a year now, even though I’d prefer abbytalks for that too – but it was already taken. Other names as “abitalks” were taken too, so next option was abinsta – but that too was taken!
Oh god, it can be difficult. Haha. But it’s just a profile name, I know. So I chose abbynsta, for several reasons; AB, that are my (professional) initials, Y for gen-Y, and nsta (as in insta) for Instagram, instant etc. So it was obvious for me to change my blog name for the same. Because it shows some of my moments – Abby’s instants! 😃
Back then it was mostly my Instagram profile’s name I wanted to change, to finally show myself (and my friends and followers) that this was a “new me”. But I was not fully sure about that name. Now it finally seems right to me.

A leading museum of modern art in the whole world, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is located in Humlebæk, north of Copenhagen, and close to Helsingør.
It was my first time ever, and I’ve heard many things about this museum from my brother and some friends. Even my friend has been here before, and as we didn’t have any plans that weekend, she asked if I wanted to visit Louisiana. Again, why not? I mean, it is actually something you HAVE to, being a resident in Denmark – or when you are in Denmark. Simply because it’s one of the most prominent museums in the world, for modern art.
