Siem Reap Diaries: Chasing a Childhood Dream 🇰🇭✈️

The last day in Chiang Mai had arrived, and I checked out of my room at Art Mai Gallery Hotel with mixed feelings. On one hand, I had completely fallen in love with Chiang Mai – its cozy atmosphere and culinary offerings had won me over. But on the other hand, I was excited for the next adventure. Don’t they say, “All goodbyes lead to new hellos?” 😁 But at the same time, we must remember that goodbyes are simply reminders of good moments and the possibility of a reunion, right? 😉😜

Let’s go for some Thai food in Odense 🍛🇹🇭

So yes, for not so long ago, my CPH-friend and I decided to have a sleepover in Odense, as she hadn’t really seen Odense, and I haven’t been to Odense for a while. So it was quite good for both of us, to meet midway 🎩

I had booked a room at Hotel Comwell HCA, that is located only a few minutes from OBC, the railway station in Odense. It was actually a quite nice place to stay at.

Spice me up, Málaga! 🍛

After 3 hours of walking along El Caminito del Rey, we drove back to Málaga etc., where we could jump off if we wanted to do so. When we arrived at Málaga, I therefore decided to jump off the bus, because I thought of eating there. I hadn’t eaten the whole day, but got some water, so I was litterally starving 😂

I decided to go to The Great India at Plaza de la Solidaridad, nearby the Málaga Alameda Centro, which has got some good reviews on Tripadvisor. And I actually liked the food pretty much!

I got some pappadum and some chutney/pickles, and I got a baingan bhartha with rice for main. Really good!

Hereafter I went for shopping at El Corte Inglés. I found out, that being a tourist you can get a Discount Card, that you can use within a week. By using the card I got 10% discount for my first purchase, and 5% for the following purchases. the customer service at any El Corte Inglés shop by showing them your passport or your ID proof ☺️

And then back to Fuengirola by the C1 train ☺️

I love spicy food. My favourite kitchen is of course the Tamil-Ceylonese kitchen, and my second most favourite kitchen is – Thai. Of course 😏 Thai food is just amazing, and reminds me pretty much of Ceylon Tamil food because of the spices and the coconut milk. Yet, there are still some differences, which makes them unique. Serve me Tamil and Thai food. I’ll be happy 😅
