Once again invited my brother for dinner out. While walking around in Calle Larga in Fuengirola, I’ve seen this italian restaurant that seemed pretty much alluring and tempting. It looked a bit expensive though, but I felt like I had to try it. So we went there, at Ristorante Limoncello 🍋🇮🇹
After 3 hours of walking along El Caminito del Rey, we drove back to Málaga etc., where we could jump off if we wanted to do so. When we arrived at Málaga, I therefore decided to jump off the bus, because I thought of eating there. I hadn’t eaten the whole day, but got some water, so I was litterally starving 😂

I decided to go to The Great India at Plaza de la Solidaridad, nearby the Málaga Alameda Centro, which has got some good reviews on Tripadvisor. And I actually liked the food pretty much!

I got some pappadum and some chutney/pickles, and I got a baingan bhartha with rice for main. Really good!
Hereafter I went for shopping at El Corte Inglés. I found out, that being a tourist you can get a Discount Card, that you can use within a week. By using the card I got 10% discount for my first purchase, and 5% for the following purchases. the customer service at any El Corte Inglés shop by showing them your passport or your ID proof ☺️

And then back to Fuengirola by the C1 train ☺️

Yep, Thai it is. Because no one has ever said “no” to Thai food. Right? 😄
I love spicy food. My favourite kitchen is of course the Tamil-Ceylonese kitchen, and my second most favourite kitchen is – Thai. Of course 😏 Thai food is just amazing, and reminds me pretty much of Ceylon Tamil food because of the spices and the coconut milk. Yet, there are still some differences, which makes them unique. Serve me Tamil and Thai food. I’ll be happy 😅
After exploring the Alcazaba of Malaga and the Gibralfaro, I was so hungry – so hungry, that I actually didn’t what to eat, because I was to tired. I had walked 12 km, and couldn’t really think about searching for a quiet place to eat, so I just went for the first restaurant I could see. Some café that didn’t offer much vegetarian food – so I got a bread with some tomatoes and a coke 😅
Herefter I decided to go for the Plaza Mayor, so I took the C1 line. Went for a proper lunch at La Tagliatella.
Damn, what a great lunch it was!
Garganelli all’uovo e burrata (with tomato sauce, basil and homemade burrata). It was so authentic 😍😋

And then some shopping 😉
You may know, that I’m a foodie. Like the famous danish author, H C Andersen used to say that “to travel is to live”, for me it’s “to eat is to live”. What’s life without enjoying great gastronomy? 😇😄
