Who can live a positive life while having a negative mind? :)

It’s not always fun, and everything is not always easy. We have all been there – situations where not everything is like what we wanted it to be.

Life has ups and downs, and the real victory lies in how we go through these downs and survive. Friends that cheat on you, stressful job, love failure or let be anything else that make the life unfair.

We all fight with something or someone, but are we all able to take it with a smile? Do we all have the capability to accept things their way and think that everything happens for a reason? 😉 Some of us get used to it, “my life sucks forever” – some of us just think “ok everything is my fault”, and again some of us see the opportunity to learn in whatever happens. Which one are you? How do you deal with the difficulties you meet in your everyday life?

When I was younger I could easily get mad at people, and whenever someone gave me some critics I got so annoyed. By time I learned myself to think positive, and accept everyone and everything as it is. Because, nothing will get better if you behave negatively. Today I’m that kind of person who don’t get stressed, I don’t get mad at anyone. Moreover, if someone ever tries to hurt me, I just smile.

It’s not always easy to be cool and “take it easy”. If someone says something annoying or cruel, it’s not everyone who can just leave it.

Here are some simple, but very useful “mantras” to stay positive:

1. Surround yourself with positive minded people

Meaning that you have to surround yourself with people, who light and lift you up, and keep your circle positive. Encourage each other and support each other. Ask yourself:

Who are the most negative people in your circle? When being around with them, how do they affect your mood and behavior? Do they have any kind of bad energy and does this reduce your positive thinking and performance? If yes – you don’t need them in your life, because you don’t need anyone whose only intention is to bring you down!

2. It’s not only about yourself

Try to put positivity and value into someone else’s life, and make them happy. Knowing that you are the reason behind their smile makes your life so beautiful. Surely, it will encourage you too.

3. Keep moving

Exercise has shown to be very good for your whole thinking, as it releases positive chemicals into your blood. Do any kind of exercise you like, let it be strength training, dance, boxing, swimming or something else. Of course, this is good for the body too! 🙂

4. Have a beautiful language

A positive language makes a positive mind. It’s that simple 😉

Use more of these positive words, and quit all those negative words – do we ever like people who always talk negatively to others? No? True 😉

5. Everything is okay

Whatever happens, keep telling yourself that “everything is okay”. Nobody is gonna hurt you, nobody is getting mad just because something didn’t work out. Yes, it takes time, but stress is worse.

Hugs <3

Where there’s love, there’s happiness.. AND there’s peace

Last Monday my parents and I went for a quick visit to Aalborg, where my brother lives and studies. He recently defended his Bachelor’s thesis in Industrial design, and their batch has currently an exhibition running consisting of their bachelor’s project, including both Industrial design, Architectural design and Urban design. I’ve been to Aalbrog several times, and it’s definitely my fave Danish town! Love the atmosphere and it’s architecture so much. It’s the place whether you want fun or just some coziness.

I love Aalborg, I just love how beautiful it is with lot of beautiful and stunning architecture! If they just got some proper workplaces for someone like me, I’ll immediately move! 😀 😛

As it was becoming very late, my brother and I decided to order some pizza and some.. Sushi. I’ve never been into sushi, as I thought it was kinda “untasty”, but my brother kept telling that it’s not and that he wanted to eat sushi. So I bought him some, and we decided that both my mum and I should try it too (and I orders pizza just in case that the sushi was awful. And my dad only eats homemade food). So, we ordered some vegetarian sushis from Wasabi Sushi at Kennedy Arkaden.

Etnia, show me the world :P

I’s not everyone who knows, but I’ve been wearing specs since I was 4 years old. I started wearing them daily, but by time I did care less about them, maybe because I felt looking like a nerd 😛 For 2 years ago I bought some new ones, but I never managed to them as they never fitted me and gave me headaches.

So I stopped wearing them, but initially felt very bothered about my myopia, so I ordered some new ones almost 2 weeks ago. I’ve normally bought them from Profil Optik (and was very satisfied), but last time wanted to try something else, and bought at Louis Nielsen. As I was not so happy with it, I decided to order from Profil Optik again 😉

I tried out several designs – none of them were those “Harry Potter-like”, that are “in” nowadays! I really hate the fashion right now, who wants to wear Harry Potter specs?! 😛 Okay, I tried out some designs and picked up one from Etnia by Barcelona. They have some really good designs, and their frames are so lovely. I got my glasses last Thursday and after some adjustment I was happy! Suddenly I realized how poor my eyesight is (okay, only -1,50, but still..). The one I ordered is black with a red twist, and all my colleagues etc. were like “wauw!” 😀

Here are some pictures of my new specs – Etnia by Barcelona 😉

And of course some selfies (Taken at work 😛 )

Sculpture by the Sea

Recently I had my parents on a visit, and my mum and I went to Tangkrogen in Aarhus, to see the sculptures at the “Sculpture by the Sea 2015”. While talking about places to visit in Aarhus, one of colleagues told me about this sculpture event, that’s held from 5th of June to 5th of July. This includes several sculptors wolrdwide, who have created sculptures for this event. If interested, you can help Aarhus to buy some of the sculptures too. My colleague is an artist, and he’s very much into stuff like that. I immediately decided to visit this place, and first I went there with my friend, but this didn’t come out well as she’s not interested in art and sculptures at all! So as my mum loves stuuf like this, we later went to see the sculptures, and my mum definitely liked the place.

We enjoyed watching the sculptures (of course not all that was nice) and we enjoyed the seaside too. We later on went to the Dyrehaven, which my mum was pleased to see, as she loved those deers etc. 😉

Go herbal, eat clean

Summertime means fruit time! I love eating fruits, especially berries – they’re so incredibly yummy! Can eat them all day, and of course strawberries and blueberries are my faves 🙂 This weekend was full of loads of activity, and while coming home I felt like eating berries. My friend and I went to the nearest coop where I found a package of berries mix, containing strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Yum!

I’m almost 100% against medications and other kinds of drugs. Even in my case they failed, but then Ayurveda (YES!!) herbs helped me to control body and to get a normal, PCOS-free life. Unbelievable, right? However, it’s true. This doesn’t mean I hate doctors, I respect them. But still I’m definitely not in to the use of medications, that cause more side effects than benefits.

Therefore, since 2013 I’ve been 100% into Ayurveda and herbalism. I know this works, and it definitely doesn’t result in side effects. I’ve seen that many modern medication don’t really cure the problem, but instead make matters worse. LOL. Then why damage your body in this way? This if actually the second reason for not studying medicine. There’s a reason why these kind of medicines result in so many side effects while herbs don’t 😉

Summer, time to partayyy

Living alone is not that simple, Especially if you’re the type that loves to be surrounded by many and don’t like to be alone. Even though I’m an introvert, I’ve been living alone the past 7 years (OMG!), and I still remember how difficult it was in the beginning. Moving to a new place, where you don’t have any friends, and start to create a new network of friends was not that easy. I actually had difficulties in making friends, and I still have. However, by time I learned to make it, and now have friends in many places 😉

I really enjoy spending time with people and having fun. But I still love to spend time on my own too.

Okay – yesterday we had the “summer party” at my work, and I was in this “party committee”/planning group. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there to all the meetings, as I had patients, but I think I still did a very good job. I suggested kickball if the weather was good – and it did – and as we planned to play bingo, I bought the gifts for this game too, and helped as much as I could.

Here are some pictures from yesterday’s event. It was so much fun, and I guess everyone enjoyed the party. First we started eating cake (I didn’t, as it was Friday), and we then went to the University Park in Aarhus to play kickball. This was funny, and we enjoyed playing and watching each other running after the ball 😛 Look at my lovely “gold tattoo” btw!

It’s finally summer!! 😀

Later we got back “home” and had dinner. I was not that much surprised with the food, as I, being a veggie, could not eat anything but pasta. Hm.. Anyways, I still enjoyed the time with my colleagues 😉

I and 3 other girls later went to the town on another restaurant, and I was back home very late. Was so tired that I immediately fell asleep 😛

L and I had planned to catch up with 2 other former study mates today, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen, as one of the girls had to cancel it. So L and I decided to go for a walk, guess we walked about 5 km’s first, and then went to JNTJ to get some lunch and juice. This was so yummy 🙂 We hereafter went for shopping, and I bought some new shoes from TOMS. I like their concept of giving away a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased. Amazing, isn’t it?

After the shopping we went down the streets and watched people getting ready for the Aarhus Pride and many politicians using this opportunity to get votes 😛 We walked home, and relaxed for an hour, and then went out for dinner, and walked the way home. I guess we’ve walked about 10-11 km’s today 😉

Now relaxing with a bowl of berries. It’s summer and I’m healthy! 😀

Have a great evening! 🙂
